Methodology (Policy)

The methodology for policy peer review visits is a result of the work done in the P2P and P2V projects. Alan McCluskey from the University of Fribourg and partners in the policy strand in P2V refined and further developed the policy peer review methodology elaborated in the P2P project.

French visit

The third and last peer learning visit of the P2V project took place on 15-17 September 2008 in Paris. The meeting focused on Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs), a key priority for the French Ministry of Education which hosted the event at the International Centre of Pedagogical Studies (CIEP) of Sevrès.

Catalonia visit

The second peer review visit of the P2V Policy strand took place in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain on 20-22 February 2008. The meeting was organised by the Department of Education of Catalonia. The methodology developed in P2V calls for organisers of the visit to identify a specific issue or problem to be presented and possible solutions discussed with peers.

Lithuania peer review visit report

The first peer review visit of the P2V Policy strand took place in Vilnius, Lithuania on 18-20 June 2007. 23 participants from five countries, partners in the P2V project participanted. The meeting was organised by the Lithuanian Centre of Information Technologies of Education (ITC) and addressed the issue of digital resources. The methodology developed in P2V calls for organisers of the visit to identify a specific issue or problem to be presented and possible solutions discussed with peers.

Key P2P documents

Policy reports were written as a result from the P2P project. These evaluation papers from Finland, France and Northern Ireland elaborate on approaches related to e-learning in schools with a focus on the integration of ICT in education. The link also provides a document on the used methodology and what was the overall impact of P2P for its participants.
